Minister for Indigenous Affairs and Senator for the Northern Territory, Nigel Scullion, officially opened his new office in Alice Springs today.
Minister Scullion said he was keen for Centralians to make use of the new office which will make it much easier for Territorians in the Centre to contact him and his staff.
“My staff and I make regular visits to Alice and central Australia but this office will make it much easier for people in the centre to bring their concerns to me,” Minister Scullion said.
“I encouraged people in Central Australia to drop by the office and speak to my staff.
“People will be able to obtain advice on a range of constituent concerns regarding government programs and services, or queries relating to my portfolio of Indigenous affairs.
“It will also make it easier for people to provide me with documents and letters, and easier to arrange face to face or phone meetings with me, or my staff.
The new office located at Unit 1, 82 Todd Street will have a full time staff member, and be open from 9 am until 5 pm each day.
