Scholarship for Indigenous pharmacy student
International pharmaceutical company Abbott has announced it will provide a $60,000 scholarship over four years to an Indigenous student to study pharmacy at Charles Sturt University in NSW.
It is expected that at the completion of their degree the student will return to their community and practice community pharmacy.
“I encourage all interested Indigenous students to call or email the university this week, as the cut off is the end of November,” Senator Scullion said.
Interested applicants should email Charles Sturt University Professor Patrick Ball at pball@csu.edu.au or phone (02) 6933 2445. Information regarding the pharmacy course can be found at www.csu.edu.au. Applicants must express their interest by the end of November.
