Labor policy mess now all Coalition’s fault – really!!!
The implosion of what was the Gillard government’s border protection policy should leave absolutely no doubt in anyone’s mind that the Gillard Labor government is the most incompetent government in Australia’s history, said Country Liberals Senator for the Northern Territory, Senator Scullion today.
“What was merely comical yesterday when the Labor government blamed the Country Liberals Natasha Griggs for the failure of Darwin GP super clinic turned into absolute farce today when the Prime Minister blamed the coalition for the failure of their off shore asylum seeker processing policy they called the Malaysia solution,” Senator Scullion said.
“If the Prime Minister had even a shred of integrity left she would accept that when the Coalition was last in government there was a very effective suite of border protection policies that included off shore processing.
“The Prime Minister must also accept the fact that the only government to oppose and repeal off shore processing arrangements was – you guessed it – the Labor Party under Kevin Rudd.
“The only people who appear to believe the Prime Minister’s nonsense that all the ills that beset her government is the fault of the coalition is her own Labor Party colleagues.
“Australians are a hell of a lot smarter that the average Labor politician because Australians know the history of this issue, “Senator Scullion said.
“The coalition support off shore processing because we implemented it – fact.
“Labor dismantled off shore processing – fact.
“Now if the Gillard Labor government truly believe that their policies are so flawed and that the coalition is the party that implement and manage Australia’s affairs then there is just one final act left for the Prime Minister.
“Call an election and let Australians get rid of our worst ever and most incompetent government ever,” Senator Scullion said.
